I Love myself | Day #79
That’s a line I walk.
One of my favorite songs of all time is Kendrick Lamar’s single ‘I’. The vibe of this song is amazing and really makes you feel like there is nothing wrong with the world. At least with mine.
Music is of course very subjective.
But this song makes me love myself instantly, just by singing/rapping along with it.
In general, I love myself. I know that I’m not perfect. I make mistakes, I can learn more, I can create more, I can be more financially stable, I can improve, I can better, I can help more people, I can do more.
But I also understand that I’m not perfect.
There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance in my eyes. For some people, I may seem egotistical and arrogant.
I talk big about what I can do. I’m very confident in my skills. If a task suits my skills, I will tell them that I can execute them flawlessly.
In the event(s), where I don’t I will fall flat. People can embarrass me, make fun of me, or not pay me.
But that’s a line I walk.
Most of the time it works out, and sometimes not.
But I understand that I’m not perfect. I make mistakes. I know my flaws. I know that I can be better. That’s why I love myself.
