Day #22 | Injuries suck

Last week, I wrote about exercising back to normal. Since COVID19 has regressed my body. I’m trying to go back to my body and fitness before the end of this year.

But, funnily enough, I strained myself a bit last Monday. The strain or injury is somewhere around my right Latissimusi Dorsi. So located on my right-side under my armpit. This makes it hard for me to do exercises like deadlifts, bench presses, or throw punches.

Even jump-roping hurts a bit if I jump too much much.

A bummer to be honest.

But injuries happen.

This is not my first time getting strains or injuries. It wouldn’t be the last as well.

I just have to deal with it. Luckily I’m young so I heal quite fast. Better to make these mistakes of getting injured rather than it could have an impact on my health when I’m older.

Right now it is just impacting some of the exercises that I can’t do. Also, it makes it hard to burn my daily calorie goal. So injuries or strains suck.

But I try my best to still exercise. I’m still aiming to back into shape at the end of this year, and this is a hurdle.
