There are so many skills and professions in the world. Even new ones being randomly discovered by creative people every day.

It is not feasible to learn them all and even be good at it.

So you have to choose what you want to be good at.

How do you know what to be good at?

By the ones that make you feel upset.

If you feel upset about something, it means you value the skill to a degree.

If you don’t value something, then you also wouldn’t get mad at it.

Similarly, if you are not interested in football. If the Champions League playoffs are happening you wouldn’t care what the results are. If you do love a football team in it, then you will to some degree be upset if they lose.

Upset that you can’t write good stories? Learn and improve on it.

Upset that you can’t verbally communicate clearly? Learn and improve on it.

Upset that you can’t do pull-ups? Learn and improve on it.

Upset that you aren’t entertaining? Learn and improve on it.

Not upset that you can’t draw? Don’t learn and ignore it. If you have to outsource it by hiring somebody.

Choose what skills you want and desire to learn. If you get upset about something you can’t do, it is a good sign that you have the desire to learn it.

It takes time to learn something, but it is better you can eventually then get upset every time it gets brought up.

Feel upset about something you can’t do? Learn and improve on it.
