Hangout with people that wants best for you | Daily #141
I’ve been blessed to have been in many friend groups. From weed smokers to videogamers, to clubbers, to tech, to business people. But, I’ve noticed that not everybody wants you to be happy.
They like it as long as you part of their group. Like, smoking weed, playing video games, go clubbing, talk about tech or business. But as soon you talk about something else that is not the topic of the group, then become wary.
Worse, if they see you spend more time on something else, they discard you.
The good news is that there is in my experience always one to three people that keep up with you even though you don’t practice their interests anymore.
I feel like those people truly want the best for me. They understand that I need some change to improve and evolve. If I succeed, maybe I can even give them some golden nuggets.
The others probably want(ed) me to fail.
But nothing wrong with that honestly. It is a part of human nature and is often represented as envy.
But just remember to not hang out often with those people. They like and will take you down on your different quest.
