Bugs Identified during Beta-testing | Day #85

I always appreciate beta-testers and think it is very important.

Even though if it just a few beta testers that can count on two hands, it is very valuable.

Beta-tests are a representation of what could happen during production. Once you launch and make a big thing out of it, you may reach a large audience.

If they get bugs or ‘rookie mistakes’ their first impression is not the best, they would uninstall it. Or worse, talk publicly about it.

Not all bugs and crashes can be identified during a beta-test, but it is better than nothing.

During this, I’ve identified three bugs during the Growrilla beta-test.

  1. iCloud sync didn’t refresh correctly [FIXED]
  2. The year overview card doesn’t refresh when selecting a new year [FIXED]
  3. The calendar view didn’t go back to the current month in some instances [FIXED]

Always have a beta-test for your software apps, even if it is just a few testers.
