I’m coming back from a three-week holiday where I almost did nothing work-related. I’ve been relaxing, reading, watching TV shows, video gaming, and only worked on small things.

I felt extremely relaxed the last couple and this basically solidifies my learnings two years ago that if you have a Holiday, you should have at minimum for two weeks. Shorter than that is not a holiday, and don't let them brainwash you otherwise. That's not a holiday that's an extended weekend. (Especially if you are extremely productive.)

What are my goals in the upcoming months? First, I’m training for a 1/4 marathon. At the end of this month, I’m going to assess if I’m going to sign-up for it. The marathon is in the first week of April and I aim to finish it within 70 minutes. The average time for a 10k marathon is 50 to 70 minutes. So that’s my goal as well.

Then regarding my indie work, I’m trying to release two products this year as well. I’m going to assess if I’m going to maintain (actively) Growrilla and Thinkdrop 2 in the upcoming months.

Also, I’m going to work with two partners on releasing something big this year or at least an MVP of it. This is going to be something bigger than most of my indie work and more capital will be put into it. At least that’s the idea for now.

Then regarding my career, I’m still exploring my options. The tech market hiring salaries has been heated for a while now, and maybe I can leverage that into better deals. I still desire to stay at Somnox, but I have to weigh the benefits against other potential offers.

That’s basically going to be my 2022 when it comes to my ‘professional’ and ‘health’ life. All personal goals when it comes to relations, family, and friends are a bit private still but will write about them if there are big updates.

The daily series also will continue for as long as I can.
